ABOUT THE LEARNING HUB

Titiksha academic society duly registered under the society’s registration Act 1860, on May 14, 1984, took upon itself the onerous task of spreading literacy in rural & urban areas of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. It started a school in the name of Titiksha Public School in the year 1986. The school is presently providing education from pre school to senior secondary School level and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

The Logo of Titiksha Public School comprises of three primary elements interwoven by the core values of school in modern circular form. The three elements are simple and hold a purposeful existence in our lives- an Open Book, a Lotus flower and the Bright Sun. The placement of the elements is strategic as they jointly communicate the motto of the school- “Rise to Shine”.

The objective of the motto is to inspire students to ‘Rise’ even in the adverse conditions and inculcate resilience in the face of hardship. ‘Shine’ signifies performance, brilliance and glimmer of an ardent character.

Ti Tiksha aims to build in its students the self-will and courage to continue rising amidst all adversities and foster a zest to excel in their respective endeavours.

Recently the school has given a lifetime opportunity to my Daughter Aahana Wadhwa Class IX B, and other students to participate in the cultural exchange programme. This programme spanned across Malaysia, Vietnam and Russia.This activity gave a valuable opportunity to students to interact with their counterpart in other countries. It presented a great learning opportunity to the students to meet students and teachers from different cultures, religions and rituals.
This experience will lead to improved self-confidence and self-esteem in students. It will also improve the students' decision making and independent thinking skills not to mention enhance their understanding and acceptance of different cultures and perspectives.These exchanges programmes provide an opportunity to explore other cultures, traditions, customs, beliefs, societies, languages, and much more. Hence, such opportunities makes students view the world with a different lens. This provides alternative perspectives and broadens one's horizons and increases the tendency of acceptance.
I thank the school management and the Pricipal for providing a platform for skill and personality development of participating students.I also thank Ms. Jyoti Bisht, for effectively coordinating the programme. She has carefully selected the deserving students who can effectively exhibit their school and country in such a reputed programme. She also guided the students how to talk, interact, present their views and speak in a pleasant and confident manner. She has proved instrumental in coordinating such important programmes.A big thanks from my side for nurturing the talent of these future good citizens.
